Ravi Natt
Chair

Mrs. Ravi Natt is the owner of Equipoise Management Consultants Inc. providing consulting services to the Public Private Sectors in strategic development, business planning and developing & implementing social projects. Ravi has over 30 years of experience in Community Development and Social/Affordable Housing. She has served on many boards and led many social initiatives and projects. Ravi is the recipient of “Award of Excellence” from Municipal Affairs, 1997; Member of the Premier’s Provincial Task Force on Affordable Housing 2007; Featured in Alberta Venture Magazine “One of a Kind” – September 2008 and recipient of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce “Sustainable Communities Recognition Award” – October 2008.

Dr Rupinder Toor Mangat
Vice Chair

Dr. Rupinder Toor Mangat is Medical Director and Founder of the Northeast Calgary Women’s Clinic.  She completed her BSc. Honours in Biochemistry and M.D. at the University of Calgary, Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario, and has been in practice since 1998.  Dr. Toor Mangat was the proud recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in October 2012, Global Calgary Woman of Vision Award in June 2008, and the Outstanding Service Award 2009 from the India-Canada Association of Calgary, for her work in establishing the NE Women’s Clinic.  She is a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Calgary, and is involved with teaching for medical students and residents.

Danielle Aubry
Treasurer

Danielle Aubry is Executive Director of Calgary Communities Against Sexual Assault. Danielle holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in social work from the University of Calgary, with a Master’s focus on management, community development, organizations and policy. She was awarded a Top 40 under 40 leadership and management award in 1998. In 2007 she was awarded a Muttart Foundation Fellowship Grant to further her study into forms of consolidation for not-for-profit organizations. Danielle has contributed to the creation and development of Connect Family and Sexual Abuse Network and is a member of the Connect Strategic Planning Committee.

Baljeet Khangura
Secretary

Baljeet Khangura is a community volunteer. She retired from a 30 year career in Information Technology in the Telecom, Banking and in Oil & Gas industries in the areas of business analysis, process redesign, software application design, development, implementation and support. She completed a BSc. Honours in Mathematics from the University of London UK, followed by postgraduate training in the computer sciences.

Meenu Ahluwalia
Legal Counsel

Meenu is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Alberta branch, and of the International Trade-mark Association. She practices law in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, Immigration Law, corporate immigration, and Corporate and Commercial Litigation. Meenu completed an undergraduate degree in cell, molecular, microbial biology, with a minor in English in 1995 and then completed her law degree, both at the University of Calgary. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2000. Meenu also serves on the boards of not-for-profit organizations.
