Community Engagement Conversations

October 2025

This September, PCHS Calgary launched its first-ever “Together for Mental Wellness” campaign; a powerful initiative designed to raise awareness, foster understanding, and normalize conversations around mental health within the South Asian community.

Through heartfelt video testimonials, honest reflections, and the voices of our very own volunteers, this campaign created a space for dialogue and understanding of PCHS Calgary’s impact.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to the volunteers who participated in the campaign by sharing what mental wellness means to them: Gurnoor, Arsh, Joty, Darshan Uncle, Ayesha, Gurpreet, Jasvir, Talvir, and Hajara.

We’re proud of all of our dedicated volunteers who take time out of their lives to contribute to the community’s wellbeing.

“If I didn’t reach out for help, I wouldn’t be here today. I am grateful for those who did it for me, and that’s why I am volunteering at PCHS. You’re not alone, don’t be shy. Just pick up the phone and come by and speak with someone. It will change your life” – Gurpreet B, Peer Support Volunteer.
