Support & Counselling Programs

PCHS provides culturally responsive confidential, one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to individual needs. Our sessions use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy which help support clients in developing coping strategies, improving mental well-being, and building resilience.

Mental Health Support

  • Offers education, awareness, and early intervention for mental health concerns in a culturally relevant way.
  • Provides therapeutic groups, workshops, and wellness activities that respect cultural values and reduce stigma.
  • Support groups are available for men, women as well as mixed groups
  • Connects individuals with appropriate community resources.

Addiction Support

  • Supports individuals and families struggling with substance use and behavioral addictions through culturally sensitive care.
  • Offers counseling, relapse prevention strategies, and psycho-education to individuals and families.
  • Connects clients to treatment, recovery programs, and peer support networks.
  • In addition to one-on-one therapy sessions, support is provided through psychoeducational and relapse prevention support groups

  • Strengthens family relationships through family and couples counseling, and skill-building sessions that are culturally responsive.
  • Provides parenting workshops and resources designed to fit cultural traditions, values, and communication styles.

  • Psychoeducational groups available for men and women.
