Kiran Dhaliwal
Past Chair
Kiran Dhaliwal is an ITIL certified Business Process and Operations Improvement consultant with over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, Service Management, Education and Operations. She has a proven track record in the design and development of processes and standards, work instructions, and in operationalizing processes at both the local and regional levels. Kiran was also a small business owner for 5 years in Northeast Calgary where she developed deep relations with the local community. She works as a consultant where she helps small businesses provide more value with minimal resources.
Rekha Jabbal
Joint Chair
Rekha Jabbal obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1988 at the University of Saskatchewan. She moved to Calgary in 1990 and worked at the Peter Lougheed Centre in a variety of clinical areas including geriatrics, internal medicine and oncology. She has been working in mental health since 2000 with her current practice being in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Rekha continues to work for Alberta Health Services as Pharmacy Clinical Practice Leader supporting pharmacist in mental health, corrections, forensics, neurology, infectious disease and rural pharmacy practice. Rekha has been a member of the Canadian Alliance for Monitoring Effectiveness and Safety of Antipsychotics in Children (CAMESA), and has co-chaired the development of a variety of medication safety initiatives in the province including a clozapine protocol and The Antipsychotic Safety Monitoring Record (Adult). Rekha resides with her family in Calgary and enjoys road biking, walking, reading and travelling.
Kirsten Seagrave Millung

Kirsten is legal counsel to a leading energy company in Calgary, Alberta and has over 13 years of professional and legal experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management degree, from Athabasca University and a LL.B. degree from City University, London. A native Albertan with a curiosity for diversity, culture and travel, Kirsten lived abroad for many years with her family in countries such as Denmark, Egypt, Norway and the United Kingdom. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, cooking and working out.
Harman Sidhu
Treasurer
Harman Sidhu is a highly skilled accountant with a robust background in public accounting across diverse industries. With a B. Comm. in Accounting at Athabasca University, Harman brings a wealth of expertise in financial management and accounting principles. His career spans roles at Grant Thornton LLP and Concept Professional Group Inc., where he excelled in full-cycle bookkeeping, cash management, and financial reporting. Harman's proficiency in various accounting software, coupled with his ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, positions him as a dynamic and resourceful treasurer. When not working or volunteering, Harman can be found spending time outdoors or in the kitchen baking the perfect key lime pie!
Harmeet Batoo
Secretary
Harmeet was born in India and immigrated to Canada, specifically the Yukon, in 1994. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Alberta and later became a Chartered Accountant. With over 12 years of experience in the resource industry, Harmeet has held various finance-related roles.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Harmeet has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new places with her family. She also enjoys experimenting with new food recipes and reading in her free time.
Karen Toor
Board Member
Karen, a first-generation Canadian, completed her Bachelor of Business-Finance at Guelph University. Post-graduation, she embarked on a career in finance, amassing over 15 years of experience in the industry. Karen's journey in finance has seen her advising both personal and corporate clients, enriching her expertise in this field. Currently, she serves at Servus Credit Union, where her role involves providing cash management solutions to corporations and non-profit organizations. Outside of her professional pursuits, Karen is an enthusiastic volunteer, dedicating her time to community betterment. Her personal life is equally fulfilling, as she enjoys hiking, biking, and baking with her husband and three children. Residing with her family, Karen is a firm believer in contributing to a thriving community that leaves no one behind. Her passion for community involvement and her professional acumen make her an invaluable addition to our team, where she is eager to contribute to and further enhance the existing systems and initiatives for community benefit.
Ira Jairath
Board Member
Ira Jairath, a dynamic and skilled leader in the social services sector, completed her Executive MBA from Royal Roads University in 2024. Her academic journey includes a Certificate in Executive Coaching from the same university, along with certifications in Expressive Art Facilitation and Behavior Strategies. Ira’s professional expertise is enriched by her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Currently, she is the Manager at Miskanawah's Family Resource Networks, having previously served in pivotal roles at Kindred Connections Society and CUPS where she led significant Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Her tenure at Miskanawah also included a significant period as Program Manager. Ira’s certifications, like Diversity and Inclusion Coaching, EQi 2.0 and EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence, and Neuroscience of Change, underscore her commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments. Balancing her professional and academic pursuits, Ira is actively involved in community welfare and volunteering, demonstrating her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive community.
Prab Grewal
Board Member
Prab is a Human Resources leader with 17 years of experience in various facets of HR including strategy, talent acquisition, talent management, coaching and mentorship, leadership development, culture creation and the overall employee experience. Prab holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and an MBA, and she works as a Director of HR in the healthcare sector. Prab enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, and volunteering.
